The University of Hong Kong (HKU) announces the revised plan for Global Innovation Centre (GIC).
All the enhancements proposed are made in light of the areas of concern raised by members of the public during previous rounds of consultation following the Town Planning Board meetings in November 2024.
The key highlights of the revised plan are as follows:
- Reduced Development Density and Site Area
- More Green Belt Retained
- Retaining Visual and Air Permeability
- Enhanced Connectivity
The revised development plan is now available on the GIC project website here.
HKU invites members of the public, especially residents of the Pokfulam communities, to submit feedback on how we can further refine the plan via the online form. All input will be carefully considered as the project team goes forward. HKU will also make use of this project website to provide project updates and accurate information to stakeholders to keep them abreast of the development.
