Planning and Design
The Global Innovation Centre (GIC) will be close to the campuses of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and several academic and research hubs, creating synergy to form a "Deep Technology Innovation Corridor" in the Hong Kong Island.
It will enable unprecedented proximity and access to an intellectual and innovative ecosystem, research talent pool and support collaborations with industries.
The development of the Global Innovation Centre (GIC) is anticipated to commence in phases from 2027, subject to statutory procedures and approval.
