Listening to Feedback from the Community
As part of its commitment to transparency and collaboration, HKU organises briefing sessions and stakeholder meetings to share updates, gather feedback, and address community concerns.
Voices of members of the Legislative Council and District Council, as well as local stakeholders including the Ebenezer School and resident representative groups are heard over the past few months.
HKU will maintain ongoing communication with the community so as to improve the development plan and provide timely project updates in the upcoming process.

Adopting Community suggestions
HKU attaches great importance to the opinions and concerns of stakeholders during the planning process of the GIC.
Further to the preliminary directions for revision, HKU proposed to strategically amend the development plan after carefully considering the public views collected to respond to stakeholders' opinions as much as practicable.
Key highlights of preliminary directions for revision:
- Adopting community and District Council members' suggestion: utilise the R(C)6 site;
- Reduce the development density of the project;
- Retain more green belts;
- Increase the distance from neighbouring buildings, etc.
